It is with great pleasure that we announce that Sir David Green KCMG has graciously accepted the role of Patron of Quest for Education.
Sir David has held many key positions in the United Kingdom and has a wealth of experience in overseas development. For eight years from 1999-2007, Sir David Green was Director General of the British Council. From 1990-1999 he was the Director of Voluntary Service Overseas. In his earlier career from 1976 -1990, Sir David worked for Save the Children in various roles finally serving as Deputy Director-General.
He is the Chair of the Prince’s school of the Traditional Arts and also sits on the Board of The Royal Court Theatre and the London University of the Arts, He was awarded the CMG in 1999 and the KCMG in 2005. Sir David has a keen interest in international development, cultural relations, theatre, and the visual Arts.
