Our purpose
Our purpose is to provide world-class education to children in rural communities in Pakistan
Our vision
Our belief is that education is the key resource to allow rural communities, especially its women, to develop their potential. In due course, leaders will then emerge naturally from these communities and enable them to achieve sustainable development and self-sufficiency.
We strive towards our goal of establishing a world class educational institution in each of the 596 administrative units (tehsils) of Pakistan.
Our fundraising objective
If one million people were each to contribute £50 per year then 25 schools can be built every year and in the next 20-30 years our vision can be fully achieved.
To achieve this goal we work closely with our sister organisation KEF (www.kef.org.pk), a well-established NGO in Pakistan. KEF developed its first and highly successful school in 1996, and has since gone on to build three more schools and a Teacher Training institute.
